    Hand Painted Birds in a Tree

    Without display stand
    Four cute little birds perched in a tree.

    First the glass has been hand cut and then the robin, blue tit, wren and pigeon have all been created using coloured glass powders which have been fused to the glass in my kiln. The details have then been added using paint. Each layer of paint has been fixed permanently by firing in my kiln to a temperature of around 670 degrees Celsius in order to permanently fix in place.

    Once cooled, the glass is edged with copper foil tape and soldered together. The hanging has been edged in lead came for extra strength and comes with a ribbon for hanging.

    This piece measures approximately 19.5cm by 17.5cm.

    A unique stained glass panel that would look fabulous hanging in a window or displayed on the window sill using a display stand. (Not included).

    If you would like the stand shown in these pictures it can be purchased separately.
