    Fused Glass Optical Illusion Soap Dish

    This optical illusion soap dish has been made by covering a rectangle of clear glass with around 100 pieces of 1mm glass rods called stringers and then arranging stacks of clear glass on top before fusing in the kiln. As the glass melts it distorts the straight stringers and creates this amazing optical illusion effect.

    After the first fuse the piece has then been slumped into a dish shape using a ceramic mould.

    The soap dish measures approximately 10.5cm by 16.5cm and with a depth of around 2cm. If you didn’t want to use this as a soap dish it could just as easily be used as for small pieces of jewellery or your watch.

    Please note there is a small mark/ inclusion in one corner. The price has been slightly reduced because of this. The mark does not affect the structural integrity of the dish.

    *Not suitable for food.
    *Hand wash with warm soapy water or dust with a clean soft cloth. Not dishwasher safe.
