Hello and welcome to Glass and Crafts UK.  I'm Paula and I live in small town on the Sussex coast.

After semi retiring from teaching in 2017, I enrolled on a stained glass course learning how to design and make tradtional leaded panels. I was immediatley hooked.  I created a number of leaded designs but soon moved on to using copper foil which enabled me to create smaller sun catchers and ornaments.

In December 2019 I got my own little room at the end of the garden where I now spend most of my days designing and making.  My work is often inspired by nature, especially flowers and birds with the odd quirky animal.  I also enjoy taking on bespoke or commission pieces and love working alongside the customer to create their dream piece. Some of my past designs and commission pieces can be found in the Gallery.

When I am not creating I love to walk along the beach (sometimes finding driftwood to incorpoate into my work) or in the countryside. I am very lucky to have the beach and the south downs so close by.  I also enjoy reading and spending time with my family.
