    Fused Glass Optical Illusion Dish - Blues and Greens

    This optical illusion dish has been made by covering a square of clear glass with 100 pieces of 1mm glass rods called stringers and then arranging stacks of clear glass on top before fusing in the kiln. As the glass melts it distorts the straight stringers and creates this amazing optical illusion effect.

    After the first fuse the piece has then been slumped into a dish shape using a ceramic mould.

    Measuring approximately 10.5 cm square and with a depth of around 2cm, this dish would be ideal for small pieces of jewellery. It would also work well as a small soap dish or for holding used teabags, avoiding those annoying drips of tea when getting the teabag from your cup to the bin!

    *Not suitable for food.
    *Hand wash with warm soapy water or dust with a clean soft cloth. Not dishwasher safe.
