Brighten up your home or garden with this pretty fused glass mushroom stake.

The mushroom cap has been made using two layers of fusible glass. A plain cream with a pretty cream and teal coloured swirly glass on top. It has been fired twice, first to a temperature of around 800 degrees Celsius in order to fuse the glass together and then a second time in order to slump the glass over a ceramic mould.

The cap then been secured to a copper end cap using clear epoxy resin. This fits snuggly over the copper pipe.

The mushroom measures approximately 13cm across and the pipe is approximately 24-26cm in length. It comes in two parts for ease of posting. To put together, simply slot the end cap on to the pipe. You may wish to glue together for added security.

This listing is for the mushroom and pipe ‘stem’ only. You can display your mushroom in the garden, add it to a pot plant or ‘pot’ it in its own little pot. Please note the pot in the photos is not included in this listing. It is for illustration purposes only.

These mushrooms can be displayed outside and should withstand most weather. It may be advisable however to bring inside when very cold/ frosty. The copper pipe will change colour over time as the metal oxidises and forms a patina.

Each mushroom is handmade using different glass tops. Other designs are available.
