Mosaic bird wall art made using stained glass.

The base for this flying bird has been cut from a laminated wood block. Two layers of each piece of glass has been hand cut. Some pieces have had painted details added before fusing each piece in the kiln.

The pieces have then been glued to the base before grouting. Fused glass ‘nuggets’ also add extra detail.

The sides and back of the laminate block have been painted black and a slotted brass plate fixed in place for hanging on the wall.

Measures approximately 12cm by 9cm and is approximately 1.5cm thick.

*Not suitable for outdoor use.

*As this product has been made using glass there may be some sharp edges. Care should be taken when handling the product.
