A framed fused glass fox in a pretty floral crown. This is a second and has been priced accordingly. Please read reasons below.

This cute fox has been handmade using a variety of coloured glass and glass powder. After cutting the glass for the fox and placing onto a clear glass square, it has been fired to a temperature of around 800 degrees Celsius to fully fuse the pieces together. The flowers and leaves have been made from glass powder using a technique known as freeze and fuse. These have then been used to create a floral crown which has been fused in place at a slightly lower temperature in order to maintain the textures and details.

The fox has then been framed in a white box frame. The frame measures approximately 12.5cm squared and can be free standing or hung on a wall.

This piece has been listed as a second as the flowers have moved slightly during firing due to a small amount of shrinkage. It is normal for freeze and fuse items to shrink slightly but as it has resulted in one of the leaves appearing separate from the floral crown, the price has been reduced.
