Three stunning stained glass dichroic fish standing in a fabulous piece of bogwood. A unique ornament that would make a fabulous gift for a family member, friend or even a treat for yourself.

The bogwood measures approximately 23cm long by 6.5cm deep. The over all height of the ornament is approximately 12.5cm. The fish are approximately 6cm by 2cm.

Dichroic glass is made with layers of metal oxides on the surface of the glass resulting in a shifting of colours and patterns depending on the light. The glass has been capped with clear glass to protect the surface and to give extra strength. Unfortunately this has resulted in a few tiny bubbles between the layers (see close up photos). The price of this piece has been reduced to account for the imperfections.

For ease of posting the glass will be removed from the wood and wrapped separately.

*Bogwood is from trees that have been buried in peat bogs. The acidic conditions preserves the wood from decay for hundreds sometimes thousands of years. Traditionally used for decorative purposes in aquariums, bogwood is often irregular in shape and may contain splinters.
Handle accordingly and place your ornament somewhere where it is unlikely to get knocked.
